The specialist in ski bindings, Look is one of the largest manufacturers of bindings in the world. Mr. Jean Beyl developed the world's first safe ski binding in 1947 and founded the Look brand in 1951. Look has developed leading innovations in binding technology. One of these innovations is the Pivot binding, which appeared on the market in 1963 and it is still used and popular to this day.
Reliable, extremely precise steering characteristics and maximum safety. The Pivot has a rotating heel piece that rotates precisely around the axis of your shin, preventing leg fractures and knee injuries. The heel piece also has a whopping 28mm of height elasticity which prevents unnecessary opening of the binding. Because the screws of the toe and heel piece are very close to each other ('short mounting zone'), the ski can always bend unhindered and the round and consistent flex of the ski is maintained.
