The Essener Jacket is a sporty and exclusive ski jacket with exceptional materials and subtle but eye-catching details. The quilting on the chest and back is made with innovative Ultra Sonic technology that both looks elegant and reduces the risk of leakage of the filling as it is seamless. Other parts of the jacket are constructed in a supple 4-way stretch that gives a sober look and follows the body's shapes and movements. The special details are the waist's channel-sewn panels in synthetic leather with accentuating stripes, the quilted elbows and as a cool contrast; heavy YKK® zippers with pullers in dark finish. The jacket's feel is very light and comfortable, which is achieved with the Primaloft® Silver Eco Thermo Plume, a synthetic filling which imitates the properties of real down. Parts that are not quilted have a 120 gram polyester padding. The jacket's soft inner lining is dyed with an environmentally friendly process called e.dye, a method where water is not needed as with traditional dyeing. In the design of the jacket, we have created several comfort-enhancing solutions such as emovable, adjustable hood and a luxurious inner collar lined with soft fleece. The jacket has also a smooth snowgaiter in stretch material and zippered sleeve ends. We have also provided nicely integrated storage for valuables with two waist pockets, lined with soft tricot material and two inner pockets, one with zipper and one open for accessories. The mandatory ski pass pocket is nicely concealed at the left sleeve. The profiling consists of a badge on the sleeve and a "8" on the chest in dark metal.
